Elevator Pitch with Zach Beverage #6

So what happens in the Lone Wolf Building when a superstar gets in the elevator for the ride to the top floor?

The world's shortest interview is what happens courtesy of resident elevator attendant and social media aficionado Zach Beverage.

Today's surprise interview: Cleatus McHicks

ZB:  OK big guy.  We have one minute or so and you’re on the clockl.  Let’s get to it.  Question #1: You are from the KY hills, but you wrestle like a cagey veteran from all over, who trained you and where?
CM: Well I was trained by Dragonmaster (who currently wrestles in the CWL). When he was in the COL back in the late nineties he started trainin’ a young Cleatus, almost made a debut then, but it just neva happened that way.
ZB: Next question.  What happened to the Hillbilly Horsemen?
CB: Ya know it was a freak accident. Lucas got busted by the revenuers for his still, so he's in the pen for a while. Several family members got caught up in the net, so Buford needed to take some time off to see to the Blackwood family.
ZB: You are about to face Francois le'Chevalier for the Imperial championship; he is a highly-regarded talent.  How do you plan to upset him?
Cleatus spits near Zach's feet (right in the elevator).  Ewww.
CB: Now who says I have to upset him! I have to whip him, but I would't call it an upset. While I might be a surprise pick to get a shot at the belt, I ain't no underdog. I've been a champion here in Lone Wolf.  I'm the current Mexican champion.  I have been on a roll and even beaten Francois in the last couple months.

ZB: Only four more floors.  Who is your wrestling hero and why?
CB: I was always fond of Hillbilly Jim. I think it was a pity he was never used right, or given the push he deserved. Then again you city folk are always lookin down your noses at us country folk. So it ain't no surprise he was held back.
ZB: Last question. What is something about Appalachia that most people would be surprised to know?
CB: We're all nice folk (when not spitting in public elevators). We still talk to our neighbors and say “hi” to people on the street. It's a much nicer and friendlier way of life than what you city folk live. Mainly because we still help and look out for each other.
ZB: Doors haven’t opened so a bonus question for the fans.  Ale-8-One or moonshine?

CB: What kind of question is that? Maybe ole Cleatus needs to teach you how to ask questions. Moonshine hands down. Now quit botherin me boy. I gotta go sign my contract so I can whip up on ole Frenchie and claim MY Imperial Heavyweight championship.
