Rodney Noetall, the office intern wants to be a real sportscaster. But most of the guys just think that he is a young, pompous punk. So we decided to offer him a lil' something to do until his ass goes back to college where it belongs...We gave him a one-shot QA with a lot of our new young talent. And what did we get in return? We got three questions repeated over and over again. Ol' Noetall is a real pro indeed. Look for his next position to be as White House Press Secretary. Either way, he asked and here is what we received from our new, young talent.
Big Rye: "Well I like fighting and making money for it...so maybe a body guard to the stars. It would be fun to beat up a few paparazzi on a daily basis."
Question: "Who is your biggest wrestling influence and why?"
Stevie Starlite: My old man is huge into wrestling, so in the 80's all we would do is watch old NWA tapes, and that always got me interested. Both my parents were rock-n-rollers, listening to Motörhead and other forms of rock and metal so that interested me at the time. When Undertaker debuted, I was thrilled because it reminded me of Enter Sandman by Metallica. I would wrestle with friends and just emulate his moves.
Roderick Hughes: "Yea man, I would have to say one of my biggest wrestling influences is New Jack. He didn't take shit from nobody. He always came ready for a fight and for him it was all 'bout beating his opponents in order to earn respect. If he beat 'em and ain't feeling the respect, well, he just went right back and fought 'em some more. He used anything he can to earn respect, including using trash cans full of weapons, you can't help but admire his determination. He also wasn't afraid to speak his mind, you ain't gonna see New Jack censor himself just to keep sensitive white people happy, nuh-uh, boy. As a black man, it felt good seeing a role model like New Jack fighting against the systematic institutionalized racism that exists in the wrestling business, because with all the bullshit backstage politics that still exists in this business, you still see black wrestlers held back and not getting the push they deserved. New Jack fought against that, and I respect him for it and he influenced my take-no-prisoners style of wrestling as well."
Konik: Bret Hart is my biggest wrestling influence. He was always a student of the sport even when he was on top, looking to perfect his craft. His work in the ring was second to none. He was a perfectionist and I appreciated that. He may seem boring to some of the modern fans who are into the flash, but his style and substance was of the highest quality. He never took anything for granted. He made everyone he worked with better.
Question: You're the booker for any company in the world. What would be your personal dream match? Where would it be at (e.g. Wembley Stadium)? And Why?
Frank the Virus: My match would be against Hannibal at the Port Urine Chrome Dome in Detroit Michigan simply because I believe the man is full of himself and needs someone to put him in his place and I'm just the man to get the job done.
Buford Blackwood: Buford Blackwood vs. Antler Jones, No Rules Matches @ AT&T Stadium. I'd want this match simply cause of respect. He's tough and the only one I believe that is equally to me. We are pretty much the same person. Hated by most and feared by all".Francois le Chevalier: "I am partial to le LWL... the event would be held in le Stade de France, with 81,000 of the most cultured people in the world watching Ralphie (Imperial Hvwy Champion) v. Tengu (Imperial Light Hvwy Champion). I want to show my country the best the Lone Wolf League has to offer, right now, it is these two men. Now, preferably, I would wait until after cycle 55 when I take the ILH title and replace Tengu... but let us not get ahead of ourselves."
